Training is viewed by CD as continuous process of development and career growth. Custom Direct offers an exciting place to develop your career, a supportive environment where associates have ongoing opportunities to gain experience and receive onsite training. This is a collaborative effort between managers and associates.

Orientation Process

Each associate’s personal growth and development begins with the New Associate Orientation Program on the first day of employment at Custom Direct. We believe in helping every new associate get off to a fast and productive start by learning the business and understanding what makes CD and its team of associates successful.

On their first day, new associates get an overview of our company’s culture, customers, and practices. After the formal orientation, our new associates are partnered with a "Buddy" or trainer in their department for on-the-job-training. Our "Buddy" program helps new hires feel welcome while learning daily activities and job expectations. Ensuring a strong support system is critical to helping our new associates transition into our organization.
